This site is designed for referring dentists and their patients that require complex restorative dentistry, surgery, implants and/or sedation for their dental procedures. Referred patients will return to their referring office for ongoing care and maintenance. Okanagan Sedation Dentistry is an affiliation of Summerland Dental Centre. Patients will be seen at the Summerland Dental Centre facility.
How does it work?
When referred; patients will have a consult to review their treatment and candidacy for IV sedation. Referring dentists will be consulted if there are any modifications to the treatment plan or treatment requests from their patients. A letter summarizing the treatment provided will be sent to their dentist. The referred patient will be sent back to their referring office for their ongoing continuous care.
